Taking Care of Your Preserved Flowers: Best Practices
What to do :
1. Clean Gently : Use a soft brush or a hair dryer on cool setting to remove dust accumulated on the flowers. Avoid direct contact with water or chemicals.
2. Enjoy Indoors : Preserved flowers are ideal for indoors. They bring a touch of nature and freshness to any room, without requiring intensive maintenance.
3. Use Appropriate Containers : Opt for clear glass vases or containers to showcase your preserved flowers. Make sure they are clean and dry before using them.
4. Admire without Handling : Preserved flowers are fragile. Avoid touching them frequently or handling them excessively to preserve their original appearance.
What you should not do :
For bouquets in the wedding and bouquet collections. This does not apply to funerals
1. Do Not Water : Unlike fresh flowers, preserved flowers do not require water. Watering can damage their structure and cause irreversible damage.
2. Avoid Excessive Humidity : Keep your stabilized flowers away from excessive humidity, such as bathrooms or high humidity areas. This may lead to mold or deformation.
3. Do Not Expose to Drafts : Strong drafts can move or damage the fragile petals of preserved flowers. Place them in a quiet, stable place.
4. Do Not Use Chemicals : Avoid using cleaning products or scented sprays near your preserved flowers. These substances can alter their color and appearance.
5. Do Not Twist or Bend : Handle your preserved flowers with care. Avoid twisting or bending them, as this can break their stems or detach their petals.
6. Do Not Expose to UV Rays : Ultraviolet rays can discolor and damage preserved flowers. Keep them away from direct UV light to maintain their shine.
7. Do Not Expose to Extreme Temperatures : Very hot or very cold temperatures can alter the appearance of preserved flowers. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
By following these simple but important tips, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of your preserved flowers for a long time. Do not hesitate to contact our team if you have any questions or need additional advice on their maintenance!
